smile for music is a non-profit organization for the promotion of musical activities. We bring music to where it creates joy, education and community. We do this by ensuring that as many people as possible who want to play music also have access to music or the means to play music. Together with orchestras, bands, associations, schools, kindergartens, companies and other organizations, we create and strengthen musical initiatives that promote participation, cultural diversity and social cohesion. How do we approach this? By collecting donations in kind or monetary donations from musicians, associations, bands or also from the music industry, from the music trade. These are then passed on to those seeking help in a targeted and purpose-oriented manner. With us, donations in kind, such as used instruments, music articles (from microphones to amplifier systems, to music stands or other music accessories) always get a second chance! As so often, these articles are lying around unused at the musician’s home or in rehearsal rooms. We also find a eligible use for remaining stock, B-goods or other articles that occupy long-term storage space in the music industry or music trade.
